Objective: Making SharePoint Deliver Optimal Collaboration

A major multi-national communications conglomerate undertook a complete transformation of many key administrative functions, including several key financial functions. This client knew what needed to be accomplished from the business perspective but was unsure how best to execute and what the best technology platform would be. The company had already invested in Microsoft’s SharePoint platform but was unsure if it was a good fit for the requirements.

Solution: Implement SharePoint Development Expertise

The Operari Group engaged:

1. We quickly assessed the requirements and developed a functioning SharePoint prototype in less than one week. The prototype quickly demonstrated that the SharePoint platform could build the required document management and workflow function and support the financial transformation.
2. We won the approval to move forward into project design and delivery but the prototype experience gave the client’s business units high expectations for a speedy delivery. Operari and the client decided that the only way to deliver complex solution in such a short period of time would be to “follow the sun” using one of our innovative global delivery models.
3. We installed an on-site project lead and ramped up a four-member team in Hyderabad India. The extended workday in our Indian Development Center along with our unique approach and onsite coordination and verification allowed for agile delivery and regularly scheduled releases to production.
